The Story
One breakfast is good, but a second breakfast is better! Brewed with rave Coffee, this stout blends their signature coffee with mellow oats and a good helping of honey. Full-bodied and velvety, it brims with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and a smooth honeyed finish
The beer was brewed on malt, oats, and honey together, and once it reached the end of the fermentation it was treated as though it was 1100L of cold brew. Steeping the whole coffee beans for 3 days, and then the ground coffee for a further three days into the fermenter.
Aromas of freshly brewed espresso, dark chocolate, and a subtle floralness from the honey. On the palate, rich roasted coffee and cocoa lead the way, rounded by smooth caramel and malt notes, while the honey adds gentle complexity and balance. The addition of oats creates a silky, full-bodied mouthfeel giving it depth without the heaviness.
