The Story
In honor of all things metal Jester King went and turned the coolship into a Kubrick-esque “bloodbath” by filling it with wort brewed with beets.
Cooled overnight, pitched with their mixed culture, and primary fermented in a foudre. After about two months of maturation, Ethiopian Banko Taratu coffee was added (notes of strawberry, blueberry, and lime).
Coolship Bloodbath is a nice, tart, medium-strength beet and coffee farmhouse ale.
