A Victorian Mild inspired by recipes from the late 19th century.
1890 X Ale was inspired by recipes from the late 19th century. Using traditional floor malted barley, along with the finest Goldings and Fuggles hops, creating a late 19th century style Mild, to be served ‘young’ and unaged.
Left Handed Giants current brewpub sits on a site steeped in Bristol brewing history, where beer has been made since 1788. The heritage series looks to honour this history, exploring classic and forgotten British beers from times gone by.
