The Story
Brewed as a seasonal variation to The Kernels London Brick, at 4.5% it proposes the same spectrum of flavours as its stablemate, the London Brick, but at a lower intensity, which means a different point of balance, a different emphasis, a different beer.
Both present auburn to russet in colour, and cleave to a classic west coast hop profile: the aroma and flavour of pine and citrus carried through by Simcoe alongside Centennial. The rye brings spice and the crystal malts bringing body and roundness, leading the whole to have a certain jamminess, tending toward strawberry.
