It offers a bright, claret-style profile with low tannins and high energy, showing off the crunchy red fruit and floral notes of high-altitude Cinsault. The wine rests on its lees in the bottle for a full year before being hand-disgorged, resulting in a clean yet characterful finish.

Mersel Wine, founded by Eddie Chami, is dedicated to reviving Lebanon’s ancient viticultural heritage using indigenous grape varieties and high-altitude terroirs. Named after the highest vineyard region in Lebanon—Maksar Mersel—the project works with local farmers to create natural wines that reflect the warm, hospitable character of the Lebanese people.
