The Story
A 'maderised' barrel aged imperial stout. coming in at 11.6%. A combination of 3 imperial stouts all aged in 18-20 year old speyside whisky barrels. One of which was "maderised" (purposely aged in a third filled barrel at warm temps) in order to oxidise it and bring out barley wine/Port/Maderia fruity flavours. Think dates & raisins along with tobacco and whisky.
