Barrel Aged Amburana Imperial Stout. Aged in native Ukrainian Mykulynetske whiskey barrels. Dark as the southern midnight, heady as a beautiful girl's kiss. Amburana gives its spicy hints of warm cinnamon, sun-warmed wood, and the oak barrel adds light vanilla. The bouquet is dominated by coffee, chocolate, alcohol and dried fruits. A boozy blend for a fun evening.
Varvar are a passionate and ambitious Kyiv based brewery, who brew both traditional and experimental craft beer, they are as well known for their hefty barrel-aged stouts as they are their hoppy beers. Introduced to the UK by our distributor who rescued a big shipment of beers from Varvar at the beginning of the war with Russia, this is the eagerly anticipated second shipment.
NB - Please note that contrary to UK labelling regulations, the date on the label is the date it was produced, not the best before date.
